Siemens brings intelligent simplicity to IFA 2024

For Siemens Home Appliances, IFA’s 100 anniversary is all about AI, smart technology and thoughtful design to make everyday life easier.

At the company’s IFA press conference on Wednesday, Managing Director Michael Mehnert outlined Siemens’ biggest highlights for this year’s show. Under the motto “Say hi to intelligence” the brand is presenting innovations designed to make life easier, through AI, design and connectivity, a philosophy that corresponds to the findings of a study showing consumers’ desire for simplification.

Among the exciting products visitors to IFA can discover, Siemens presented the new Siemens EQ900 plus fully automated coffee machine, with advanced technology that makes every step of the process easy, even cleaning. The iQ700 oven automatically recognises 80 dishes and sets optimal preparation thanks to AI and an integrated camera while the brand’s new iQ500 studioLine ovens with a novel Air fry mode and 40 different automatic programmes help users get excellent results with minimal effort.

Other highlights from Siemens include the iQ500 inductionAir Plus hob, which combines ventilation with combi induction in a hob with a scratch-resistant coating; the new iQ700 French Door fridge-freezer that accommodates a week’s shopping, and the iQ500 washing machine and dryer with the smartFinish programme for freshening creased clothes.


Special events at the Siemens stand

Trade visitors can experience the interaction of all of these appliances in the Intelligent Kitchen at the Siemens stand, and participate in a varied programme of events including Viennese star chef Alexander Kumptner and “bread influencer” Jo Semola, who will introduce visitors to the secrets of homemade bread. Tomorrow from 4:30p.m., visitors can network at the Siemens IFA “Birthday Party” at the stand.
