Bosch wants to make homes “healthy, sustainable and stress-free”

From AI-enhanced ovens to a vacuum cleaner that gives performance going beyond the naked eye, Bosch Home Appliances showcased an array of high-tech products at its pre-IFA Berlin press conference, giving a taste of what visitors to the show can expect this year.

“Welcome home” was the message Bosch Home Appliances was eager to deliver in its press conference Wednesday in the lead up to IFA Berlin 2024.

The invitation has a double meaning. The German-based international giant knows that the home is where the heart is, and the company’s mission, with its state-of-the-art line of appliances, is to enhance that space, making people’s lives more comfortable and enjoyable.

But Bosch is also keen to extend a warm welcome to its home for the week, namely its booth in the Messe Berlin venue, as Undine Lory, Head of Marketing at Bosch Home Appliances, explained.

“Please consider this Bosch house as your retreat, your home,” she said.

Together with Andreas Diepold, the company’s managing director, Undine Lory offered a “deep dive into the huge world of Bosch products,” guiding attendees through a virtual tour of the typical home, starting in the kitchen.

“We need technology that takes over our housework so we can focus on our lives,” Andreas Diepold explained while introducing an array of cutting-edge refrigerators, scratch-resistant stove tops, and even an oven — the Series 8 accent line sensor oven — with “smart dish recognition” that can identify up to 80 dishes and propose the ideal way to prepare the food in question.

Other featured products included Bosch’s Series 6 and Series 8 washing machines, which can reduce the output of microplastics into waste water, and an innovative cordless vacuum cleaner, the Unlimited 10, that uses patented MicroClean technology to even remove particles invisible to the human eye.

Trade visitors keen to learn more about these and other products available from Bosch Home Appliances should visit the company’s stand in Hall 1.1.
