Colour, Material, Finish (CMF) design forecaster Anouk Groen is giving an EXPERT TALK at IFA this year on “Top Product Design Trends in 2024”.
“Design is the first thing you notice about a product,” says Anouk Groen. “The way a product looks tells a story, creates an expectation, and when done well… is exciting,” she explains. For the past 10 years Ms Groen has been speaking at IFA on up and coming design trends. “As the world around us changes, so does the development of different products and technologies. IFA is a place to get a preview of what is to come.”
At her IFA Global Markets Expert Talk this year, “Top Product Design Trends in 2024,” Ms Groen will be showing some exciting new design directions and linking them to consumer demands and motivations. She will also be speaking about how to incorporate sustainability into design as well as showing examples of how AI tools can support and help streamline the design process.
In preparation, Ms Groen has visited trade shows throughout the year, including in the areas of furniture, sports, and mobility. With a keen eye for what’s new, she detects cross-industry directions that can be relevant in other product categories.
The talk stands to be inspirational for anyone involved in product planning and development, and useful for any company developing and designing products that need CMF.
