Sharp: High quality sound at home, or on the go

The leading teach company is unveiling a handful of new audio products at IFA Berlin this year, including a pair of sleek, top-of-the line home-theatre speakers that will be available for sale in Europe from January 2025.

Sharp is encouraging visitors at IFA Berlin to lend their ears and experience first-hand the latest additions to its audio profile. When it comes to the tech company’s latest “party speaker”— users can even sing along, thanks to the item’s built-in Karaoke feature.

The Party Sing PS-931 is a rugged, wireless speaker that also offers atmospheric lighting effects, and is perfect for pool parties or camping trips thanks to its IPX4 certified splash protection. The device is perfectly portable, but packs a punch, with two 6.5-inch drivers and two 2-inch dome speakers. Sharp will begin selling the Party Sing PS-931 in Europe from October 2024.

European consumers will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on another new and ultra-portable Sharp product, the DR-P520 Osaka Pocket-Radio, which goes on sale starting in January 2025. The company describes it as its “smallest digital pocket radio to date”, but also its most advanced.

Sharp is showcasing two other new audio products at IFA this year which will also available to European consumers beginning next January. Launched under the new sub-brand Sharp Q, the HT-SBW53121 and somewhat more powerful HT-SBW55121 are stylish soundbars that owners of home cinema systems can use to achieve an immersive surround-sound experience.

The featured soundbars boast a minimalist, Scandinavian-inspired design and are available in two colour options: Carbon Black (with Aegean Blue) and Smoke Grey (with Satin Silver).
