Communication and connectivity take centre stage at IFA 2024
Communication and connectivity are some of the industry’s hottest themes right now, and a key focus for IFA this year.
With several halls full of exhibitors in this sector at IFA this year, ranging from major industry players to smaller niche brands, the possibilities are almost endless. From AI PCs to foldable phones and much more, innovations in this field are playing a crucial role worldwide especially with increased globalisation and new ways of working and communicating.
In a connected world, innovation thrives on collaborative, interconnected platforms, partners, services, devices and geographical locations. Each digital element of an organisation must be able to speak to the others in order to create smooth operations and experiences, and all of this is driving the demand for next-generation networking.
Flexibility is a major priority for consumers today, and brands are adapting their offers accordingly. Cloud-based solutions and hybrid cloud approaches are growing in popularity around the world as a way to stock data, and some private cloud offers are providing companies with improved latency and performance.
With new leaps and bounds being made every few months in AI, this is an area the entire industry is looking to for innovation. Visitors to IFA have a front row seat to the different ways this technology is being adapted and harnessed, especially in the field of communication and connectivity, and five days might not be enough to explore them all!
