Lexar has a lot in store for visitors at this year’s show, from new innovations to exclusive insights from creators, and a look back at the storage history. At a special launch event today, Lexar is unveiling its latest offerings, as well as introducing its global strategy, and sharing its progress in Europe – a core market for Lexar that in 2023 saw 100% year-on-year (YOY) growth across over 20 countries.
Among its line-up, the brand is showcasing the Lexar Professional Go Portable SSD with Hub – a 1-2TB portable SSD for seamless mobile video shooting that works alone or with a hub to add lights, mics, and power. This new portable SSD, the USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD, delivers blistering 1050MB/s read and 1000MB/s write speeds, enabling 4K 60fps ProRes video capture directly on iPhone 15 Pro/Max.
Lexar is also launching four new CFexpress 4.0 memory cards, the Type-B Diamond, Gold, Silver, and the Type-A Gold card, all of which enable seamless 8K RAW video shooting, and, the Lexar ARMOR series, boasting what are according to the brand the “world’s first” memory cards made of 316 stainless steel.
In addition to highlighting these innovations, Lexar is also interacting with creators at IFA, participating in the Photo, Video, and Content Creation Hub, and hosting a number of workshops where top influencers will share their creative insights. Lexar is marking IFA’s centennial with its own historical collection from the brand legacy, the “Journey of Memory” exhibition area, demonstrating the evolution of storage technology over the years.
