HONOR showcases its commitment to innovative empowerment in an AI-driven world
HONOR CEO George Zhao announces the brand’s ground-breaking AI-enabled laptop, and its upcoming AI Agent and on-device AI anti-fraud tech
At the IFA keynote session “The convergence of AI and ARM: Shaping tomorrow’s PCs” Mr Zhao presented HONOR’s latest AI-empowered flagship laptop, the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon, introduced the brand’s AI Agent, and its on-device AI Deepfake Detection anti-fraud technology.

Combined with our expertise in devices, it informs our AI roadmap, allowing us to create better and more secure AI experiences. Through all our new flagship devices, we hope to deliver human-centric AI experiences that consumers will find truly magical.” With this is mind, HONOR has developed partnerships with Google, Qualcomm, and Microsoft to build a forward-looking AI ecosystem and create new AI-enabled hardware, such as its new MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon laptop.
The MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon laptop, transforms the conventional laptop by infusing human-centric innovation with robust capabilities into a stylish and ultra lightweight body. Showcasing a vine-leaf curved design, the laptop Mr Zhao referred to as “the most beautiful in the world,” is a lightweight marvel that incorporates cutting-edge platform-level AI features. The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon, weighing just 1kg and measuring just 10mm thick, brings the lightweight and slim characteristics of smartphones to laptops. Boasting an alloy body crafted from magnesium and a keyboard constructed with titanium, the new laptop integrates a detachable magnetic camera that can be placed in both directions, enhancing privacy and adaptability, and features a 14.6-inch HONOR FullView Touch Display with 3.1K resolution.
In collaboration with Microsoft, the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon offers access to advanced Copilot features, including intelligent email management, data insight and visualisation, and real-time transcription and summarisation, elevating productivity and efficiency. Further improving power efficiency, the laptop features AI-driven OS Turbo 3.0, optimising power consumption by analysing user behaviour and adjusting performance strategies precisely, guaranteeing a powerful yet reliable laptop experience.
In addition to the new laptop, HONOR’s CEO presented the HONOR AI Agent, a revolutionary always-on personal assistant designed to simplify users’ lives by intuitively understanding their requests and intentions, which is anticipated for the HONOR Magic7 Series later this year. He also highlighted the need for AI-enabled devices to be able to work together and presented the network sharing capabilities offered via HONOR’s MagicRing. MagicRing technology allows users to share resources among their HONOR devices, such as the HONOR Magic V3 foldable smartphone and the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon laptop, using the ARM ecosystem.
Harnessing the full power of AI and combatting its drawbacks
Mr Zhao spoke about the importance of user-centricity and making sure that AI works for users by empowering them to address the challenges posed by the technology, such as the AI-generated deepfake images and videos that have flooded the Internet and led to widespread frauds and scams.
HONOR is looking to tackle the issue of deepfakes and Mr Zhao presented the brand’s soon-to-be-introduced AI Deepfake Detection anti-fraud tech, calling it “the world’s first on-device deepfake detection tehcnology” able to scan images to discern whether they are real or misleading AI-generated deepfakes. According to the company’s CEO, HONOR will continue to work intensively in this area to develop new solutions that help to prevent AI-generated fraud.
