The premium home appliance brand is presenting its most significant complete kitchen launch to date, the new AEG Kitchen Range, that boasts AI-enhanced cooking, striking design and ultra-energy-efficient features
At this year’s edition of IFA, AEG, part of global appliance company Electrolux Group, is spotlighting transformative cooking with new smart cooking functions while presenting solutions across all of its product categories, including ovens, hobs, hoods, refrigerators, and dishwashers.
Redefining Assisted Cooking
At the heart of the new AEG range is the smart technology that aims to revolutionise the culinary experience with intuitive and personalised interactions. AEG’s AI TasteAssist is a new cutting-edge feature designed to help users get the most out of their oven when trying out new recipes. By simply sending the recipe to the oven, the feature analyses it to understand a number of key facets, such as timing, temperature, and the protein type used in the recipe. AI TasteAssist then automatically selects the optimal cooking settings. As part of the AEG app, the feature can even suggest programmes the user might never have tried before to ensure the tastiest and most nutritious results.
Another smart tech feature in the new AEG Kitchen Range is the CookSmart Touch Display, which guides users through every step of the cooking process. For the first time, the intuitive interface provides a seamless experience across ovens, hobs, and even built-in coffee machines.
The new Assisted Dishes function allows users to choose from a wide selection of dishes across multiple categories, including vegetables, meat, fish and desserts. In addition, the feature provides step-by-step guidance on how to cook a complete dish to perfection. Users can easily access Assisted Cooking and effortlessly delegate boiling, or assign pan-frying at the touch of a finger. Sous-vide, simmering, and melting modes are also available.
Striking design
The new AEG Kitchen Range presents the brand’s most strikingly understated design to date. Available in MattBlack and Glossy Black, the range is instantly recognisable with signature metal handles, statement trims, and a refined graphic identity, yet its timeless look allows it to fit seamlessly into any home.
“We spent a huge amount of time talking to our customers about what their ideal cooking experience would be like, their idea of a perfect kitchen space, and how it reflects on their sense of style and their skills in the kitchen,” says Thomas Gardner, Design Lead Product Line Taste at AEG. “We looked at kitchen trends and the furniture industry, how technology has become embedded in our lives, and the rise of the domestic chef, always looking for the next challenge to level up their cooking. We turned everything we learned into the new AEG Kitchen Range.”
Responsible Living
Beyond its innovative technology and attractive design, AEG’s new Kitchen Range goes further than any of the brand’s previous ranges in saving energy resources, but without compromising on performance. Designed for sustainability, the range features advanced energy-saving capabilities while its assisted cooking functionalities ensure precision and efficiency at the touch of a button. Thanks to its highest-level energy labels and energy-saving features, the new AEG Kitchen Range can actually reduce carbon footprints during use by as much 30%.
IFA’s 100 anniversary edition this year marks the launch of the new AEG Kitchen Range, which will be available across Europe from September 2024 onwards.
